- 20th to 23rd Ave. in South Seaside Park
- Open Weekends: Memorial Day weekend to the 3rd weekend in June
- Open Daily: 3rd weekend in June through Labor Day
- Beach Badges can be purchased at 20th to 23rd Ave. from 10 am to 3:15 pm. No credit cards.
- Lifeguards are on duty from 10 am to 5 pm.
2025 White Sands Beach Fees
- Preseason through May 31st: $60
- Seasonal (on or after June 1st): $70
- Daily Wrist Band: $13 a day
- Weekly Badge: $50
- Senior Seasonal Beach Badge: $15
- Senior Lifetime Badge (65 and older): $20
Beach Badges will be sold at the South Seaside Park Annex on April 11th, April 25th, May 9th, and May 23rd from 9:30 am to 3 pm.
General Information
Berkeley Township operates three beaches. White Sands Beach is staffed with lifeguards on weekends beginning Memorial Day Weekend and then staffed 7 days a week from June 17th through Labor Day. Amherst Beach is staffed with lifeguards on weekends starting June 17th through Labor Day. Beach badges are only required for access to White Sands Beach. No refunds for lost, stolen, misplaced, or unused beach badges.
Senior Citizen Beach Badges
Any person who will be age 65 or older may purchase a lifetime beach badge for access to Berkeley Township’s beaches.
Veterans Beach Badges
Any veteran of the United States Armed Forces can access Berkeley Township’s beaches by showing a military ID at the beach.
