Purchasing

The purchase of all supplies, equipment and services by the Township is regulated by the N.J. Local Public Contracts Law (NJSA 40 A.11-1 et seq.) under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and Qualified Purchasing Agent.

The purchasing agent is responsible for reviewing all departments and office purchase requests for compliance with the Local Public Contracts Law, state purchasing regulations, and Township ordinances. The purchasing agent also prepares, reviews and approves all solicitations for quotes, requests for proposals (RFPs), specifications for public bids, and purchases utilizing authorized purchasing cooperatives.
